Mapping Boris Nemtsov’s Assassination

On February 27, 2015,  Russian opposition leader Boris Nemstov was gunned down near the Kremlin in Moscow.  The shooting came the day before the former deputy prime minister and noted critic of President Vladimir Putin was supposed to lead a protest against the Russian government.  Use this interactive graphic to explore how the assassination played out in Moscow.
